I'm Rebecca and I am pleased that you have found me.

I have always worked within the helping professions and began my career in nursing in 1992. I worked as a general nurse, specialising in palliative care until, in 2015, I commenced the Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling with York St. John University.

I work from a person-centred perspective and all my work is relational in nature. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP reg no.338945) and their ethical framework will be the basis for our work together. I have wide experience of counselling adults and young adults (16 years+) and have six years experience of working at a FE College supporting young adults.

A safe, confidential and respectful relationship will be the foundation of our work together. I believe everyone is unique and I will take care to listen closely to you, your feelings and the things that may be troubling you, and together we can explore the changes you might want to see happen.
